About Hostellerie de Goujounac
The Hostellerie de Goujounac isn’t your average hotel that looks and feels like other hotels. The building is early 19th century, very few of the walls are straight and what is now the restaurant used to be stables for the postal relay.
With only 6 rooms, you are sure to receive a personal experience. We pride ourselves on the charm of our old French village, a warm welcome and a delicious meal paired with local beers or French wines.
In July and August, fans of live music will enjoy our live blues rock line-up on Friday evenings.
Owner Sim and her team welcome guests to the picturesque village of Goujounac in the Lot where you can explore the forests by bike or horseback, paddle down the languid Lot river or ride in a hot air ballon over Rocamadour.
The local wineries are exceptional and there are a wealth of local sites to visit, from ancient chateaus to underground river caves, bastide towns and old fortresses.
For those wanting a more relaxed séjour, private yoga and massage are available, as well as the beautiful surrounding countryside where getting lost is a meditation in and of it’s own.
